    Recently bought an A4 from Herts Autos, and had it delivered due to living some distance away. Had a great experience dealing with them, delivered quickly and the car is in great condition, exactly as advertised and came with full service paperwork and checks done. Made the whole experience really easy. Couldn’t be happier.

    Smooth and simple

    Amazing service from start to finish got a bit lost making my way to herts autos but never the less made it to see a well presented audi a5 coupe they had in stock was looking for this spec and mileage for around 4 weeks when i came across it i called and made an appointment for a viewing on turning up they handed me the keys and allowed me to look over the car with no one breathing down my neck also allowed me to take it for a drive and all seemed well they provided me with all documents for the vehicle which all checked out and they had put a fresh mot and had serviced the car which was great. It was a smooth transaction and will definitely recommend hope to use them again in the coming future.

    Terrible experience

    I'm never one to leave reviews or tarnish company's reputations but do you know what after todays experience its deserved. Saw a vehicle on their website looked a million dollars on the pictures, looked in a well presented environment and the exact spec and colour I've been looking for, thought yes this is the one studied all 64 pictures and it looked very tidy indeed! Phoned up reserved the car left a deposit and drove 2.5hours to the dealership first thing Saturday morning very exited to be driving my new family car home.When we arrived alarm bells started ringing straight away it wasn't the nice dealership or car pitch I was expecting but rather more like a farm yard with cars with no prices on etc. All the cars that are pictured in what looks to be a nice respectable showroom is infact a shed with a tiled floor..anyhow never mind I'd come to look at the car not the premises. The lad unburies the vehicle out from the back to let me have a look around it and wow oh wow what a dog it is in person. Not a single panel without a scuff or scrape that's been touched in by hand with a white paint pen (these can't be seen on the pictures) all 4 diamond cut wheels sanded and spray painted with silver paint again this can't be seen on pictures they just look in great condition but in person what an eye sore. Any how work my way around the car find drivers front tyres bald, interior looks like 2 alligators have been fighting inside not a single plastic panel inside undamaged. What a joke. Anyhow thought I'd look at the pano roof and notice a 2" tear in the black headlining. That was it final straw door closed and straight back in the office to request a refund on my deposit. 26.5k for a vehicle and 5 hours of my day, £80 fuel wasted to come and view a dog what could have been avoided with honest pictures and description. Went to view another same spec same colour on the way home from a proper dealership, beautiful example bought it on the spot and cheaper too. To say I was cross driving home is an understatement. Buyers beware !!

Just to touch on some of the comments made, After conducting a comprehensive examination of both the car's interior and exterior, I regret to inform you that I was unable to identify any of the issues you mentioned, such as bald tyres and damaged interior . The only flaw I found was a slight crease in the headlining. It is important to note that this is a used car, and as such, minor wear and tear are expected, unlike a brand-new vehicle. We can confirm not one panel has been touched up as you mentioned . The alloys wheels have been professionally diamond cut with invoice to confirm this . When advertising our cars we take over 60 plus images (interior& exterior) to be as transparent as possible with our customers. Any defects would most likely show on show up on one of these images as we don’t use any special effects or filters. Yes we operate on a converted farm land to facilitate our use. We have 3 indoor units , one being our showroom to serve customers come rain or sunshine. At Herts Autos, we place great emphasis on customer satisfaction, as evidenced by our positive reviews from previous customers. This is not an accurate and unfair review, but your comments have been noted. We will keep striving to better our products and service thank you

    They Don't Know How to Trade

    We made an appointment to see the car today. And if there is no problem with the car we would buy it. We said this on the phone. We took a taxi to work because we sold our old car. (Taxi fare is £200 round trip)Anyway, we got out of the taxi and went inside to look at the cars. He said the cars were given a deposit, he apologized. I need to see the car I made an appointment with first. If I don't buy at my appointment, the next person after me, the depositor, can buy the car. This is the moral behavior that should be. Is not it right? This is not an auction. The price is already fixed.Have I come all this way for nothing? Herts Autos should have said: This car has an appointment. I can take your deposit after the appointment.But instead he chose to victimize us. £200 of my money wasted in vain. Very immoral behavior.

    Avoid at all costs

    So i bought a bmw from herts drove it on the motorway and the next day the engine light came up . I made the dealership aware and they seemed co operative . I had an operation and had to wait a few days to take the car in for inspection. I took it to there garage which was a terrible experience they said it was fixed i came back and the same light was there i then had to wait a further 3 days baring in mind this vehicle is less than two weeks old. So after all the hasstle they returned my car with a scratch on the bumber a nail in the tyre and 2 miles worth of petrol. I bought this to the dealership attention and i was dealt with as if im the issue and fobbed of. I then decided to return the car as i couldn’t deal with the amount of stress the car was beginning to cause. I returned the car and it took 8 days for me to get my refund . I had to call back the manager * Personal information removed by Feefo * which he proceeded to tell me i was rude and problematic. I had been super patient with him and his staff during the whole experience and to be spoken to in that manner was unfair and unacceptable. I warn guys to stay away from this dealership there garage they work with have no clue and are incompetent along with the dealership very disappointed and will be taking things as far as i can

Despite an unsuccessful repair attempt, you were provided with two options: another attempt at rectification or a full refund, which you chose. We promptly processed the full refund on the same day the car was returned, along with providing a receipt. We kindly ask for respectful treatment of our staff.

    Enquired about car , but couldn’t get to Herts autos till the following week. I was offered a walk around video to help with my decision. Then paid a deposit down as it was happy with video. Also had the car delivered to my home address which was very convenient. From first point of contact to having the cat delivered , it took Herts autos 1 day for the whole process . Happy to say the car was as described and I’m enjoying my new Audi
